12-31-2023. The place was clean, big screen TV (thankfully it was muted), clean restrooms, and the music wasn't too loud to where you couldn't talk. We started with a spinach artichoke (OK) & grilled oysters on the half shell. The oysters were tiny, and the topping overpowered the oysters. I had the two pork chops, one grilled & the other breaded. They were good. Sides were Mac & cheese and Cajun potato salad (strange consisinstancy. No potato chunks). My party had stuffed shrimp (too much stuffing but good), onion rings & Mac h cheese; grilled shrimp, Mac & cheese and hush puppies; and fried crab cakes, Mac & cheese and French fries. All and all, the food was worth the visit.

The shrimp shells were on the shrimp still in the pasta my husband got and not deveined and they were surprised because usually they are and the soft shell crab was also horrible. The staff were very nice and asked if we wanted something else. Only one other family was in the restaurant. We haven't been here in years so we wanted to go as that was our favorite place at one time.

The food and atmosphere were great. The only disappointment was the original Stingrings have been replaced with onion rings.

Dave was our server and was spot on. We've been eating at Stingray's for many years and it's always consistently good 👍. Actually the fried calamari we got yesterday were probably the best I have gotten anywhere!

It's a nice place to eat and the food is good. This time we had a drink at the bar and did a takeout order for our food. The bartender was friendly and we felt like we had good service. It is located across from the Esplanade Mall in Kenner.
